So Talia and I went to church today... in Vicenza Italy. We were sitting there quietly when I noticed a little boy running around with a familiar book in his hands. It was Dave Bowman's book... Who's Your Hero?
How cool is that? It's international!!!! Maybe you already knew that but I was blown away. So if someone could pass that along to him... it might make his day. It sure made ours. Anywho... I don't have time to type out a huge blog. Probably won't be able to until later today... if not then... maybe tomorrow. Who knows?

OH MAN... IS BRECK GONNA BE MAD... I'm posting first. It's a dirty trick I know.. but she is still sleeping and ya know I wouldn't want to wake her and my schedule is just so booked today that I needed to write while I could. LOL hee hee aha eeee hhhh aha ha...
Today Gabi is coming over for dinner. Her 80th birthday is this next week while Dad & I are out of town... so I wanted to give her a happy birthday today. We are having roast, mashed potatoes, green salad, watermelon and yes I made a cake! And double Yes IT LOOKS LIKE EVERY OTHER CAKE I EVER MADE... Ugly, Ugly. I just don't get it. I even used those baking strips around the pan. I sure hope one of you girls takes a cake baking class... forget the cake decorating... that would be graduate school for me. Hee He. oh. and on top of that Izaak decided to take just a tiny little piece out of the middle to make sure it tastes ok.
So...you see, life is the same around here... except you are not here to laugh WITH ME... cuz I sure you wouldn't laugh AT ME!
oh... And I am hoping to see "GET SMART" with the Birthday Boy this week. Don't tell him... We haven't checked his schedule yet. hEE HE.

So, our awsome and crazy David B's enfluence is effecting other parts of the world, who would have thought. Is there no place to go in the world were Big Dave's influence hasn't been there already. Elvis, eat your heart out. Batovine, roll over. This is a good reminder of how carefull each of us should be, I dare say there is nothing we do and say that's effect is not felt elswhere. Well Dani, I love reading your updates. When you get back here you will never look at the world and life the same. Don't be to hard on us desert rats stuck in this hot, dusty, flatland desilate place. Maybe you will be the one to help us all exscape. You can be the one to lead us to a better place. Anyways, try not to think about home to much. Enjoy were you are each day, home will be her soon enough. Love you tons. see you soon.

Ok - for the record - the cake tasted great - who cares about looks. And top it off, Gaby got to frost it. I think that should become a birthday tradition. You frost your own cake - :-) (Only at the Bevells) After Gaby left, it was a typical Sunday - Dad napped - Brant read a book, Sean A'lee, Breck, Izaak and I played games - Way fun tonight. Uno and Sorry. Boy is Izaak getting good at these games - and everyone picks on Grandma tooooo much - haha Missed you being here for the fun. Look forward to your next post. Luv ya.
Ok.. just read Barbara's post about her awesome daughter that lives with her mother in Washington and how much fun they had when she came to visit. And about how much the kids hated to see her go.... And I missed you soooooooooo much. I am so glad you are having such a good trip but I am also glad this is JUST A TRIP. I am starting to feel the length of this outing and I'm not even the one gone... You can come home now. he ehe... I will pray that your flights are smooth coming home...
I talked with Casey about the cabin trip and he sounded like it would be a great time. I do hope that is something you can do for at least one night. Hey look at it this way... Our phones don't work there so no interuptions right? Hee He.. Come, Come, Come.
